Priscillia Kounkou Hoveyda’s (@priscillia_pkh) latest short film ‘We Will Be Who We Are’ explores love and freedom in Sierra Leone through the story of a young couple’s lavender wedding.

“I wanted to celebrate the Freetown I know, the vibrant one that isn’t usually centered,” the artist tells us of the film that was recently selected for PhotoVogue Festival 2026.
