A few moments from the main living space of our Windham Mountain Club project. So much fun transforming this ski-out condo shell into a warm, layered, and deeply livable winter escape for our awesome Dead head Client & his family.
We hung some great vintage posters in tramp art frames as a recurring motif, plus custom built this big, lovely curved velvet banquette to fit the exact unusual corner of the room & lay flat against both walls with an easy feel. The cabinet next to the fireplace hides away both board games AND a great wine fridge.
What started with a lot of hard surfaces was totally layered - not an inch of flat drywall left in sight! We wrapped this space with Roman Clay on the walls and grasscloth on the ceiling, plus added dark stained custom milled raised-grain tongue & groove around the neighboring space to help better define them without losing the flow. And lots and lots of antique rugs, of course.
