Front page story on the 91-year-old St. Marks landlord came out today in print. It’s been so cool to write about my two homes this year: Sag Harbor, where I grew up, and the East Village where I live now and have planted roots. Both places are changing. Both places are unlike any other. Thank you @kludt for commissioning these stories

Both Sag Harbor and the East Village have modernized but have been able to maintain their old charm in ways that have attracted many generations. They seem to be the only places gentrification can’t touch. Shout out to Trash and Vaudeville and the place at the end of the block that use to make waffle ice cream sandwiches!
