Hello Hampshire

I so rarely have a roast dinner out because I feel like they’re hard to get right but I just had a great one.

I was invited to @figurati_southampton to try out their Sunday roast. I had been recently for dinner which was delicious so I had high hopes.

I went years ago but I have to say they’ve continued improving and the roast was absolutely delicious. We had the roast beef and roast lamb which were both so good. A good selection of veg including heavenly cauliflower cheese. We ordered the pigs in blankets as it felt wrong to skip them. My only suggestion would be more gravy but I should have asked for extra.

We had same great drinks including the mai thai mocktail and keep watching to see our desserts which were the perfect way to end the meal. The strawberry tart was too pretty to eat and the chocolate bombe was a special so we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try it.

The staff were wonderful as always and gave us great recommendations.
