Family itinerary under 2 hrs from North Bay📍

Below is our simple, family-friendly itinerary that’s great for a full weekend or easy day trip. * also dog friendly!

☀️ DAY TRIP
There are 2 access points to be aware of. The first one is off the highway and listed on Google Maps.
📍North Bay → highway access of The Devils Rock

This trail access point is a short hike to the Devils Rock viewpoint.

In for more of an adventure?

✨ OVERNIGHT
📍North Bay → Bucke Park Campground
🚙 1 hr 45 min

STAY 🏕️
Bucke Park is a total gem—tent sites, cabins, trailers. Sandy beach, waterfront access on Lake Temiskaming, a playground, bike-friendly, dog-friendly, plus a boat launch for fishing families!

VISIT 🥾
The campground has direct access to Devil’s Rock (a must!). The trail access from Bucke Park Campground is more scenic with neat viewpoints that can be seen in this reel.

Make a quick stop in Haileybury for food + a waterfront stroll, or check out the local heritage museum @temiskaming.shores.tourism

On the way home, hike the Temagami Fire Tower—worth it, be aware that there are lots of stairs (not pet-friendly).
