A little experiment that has me really intrigued to explore this further ✨
This 6-inch stretched canvas started as one of my old beadwork patterns I used for a Western belt… and I had this idea—what if I translated that design into dot art painting?
It definitely came with a few learning curves (hello, tiny details 😅), but I’m so glad I tried it. There’s something about those Southwestern, Santa Fe-inspired patterns that feels so natural in this style.
And now that I’ve worked out a few of the kinks… I’ve got some bigger ideas brewing for a larger piece 👀
