The sun came out in Seldovia and so did all the lovely readers - what an amazing visit! Thanks to Cindy Mom with Seldovia Public Library for bringing us to town, welcoming us so warmly, and sending us home with halibut, kelp pickles and so much more. Thanks to artist @valisahigman for the tremendous hospitality — she let us stay at her family cabin, lent us her rowboat, and shared her love of this place. (We couldn’t leave without some her gorgeous artwork.) Thanks to everyone in Seldovia, longtime residents and visitors alike, who came out to the library and Schooner Beach. Sam and I so enjoyed our time with you all!! And a special thanks to Cindy Mom for putting on her @seldovianaturetours hat and sharing so much of the area’s natural and human history with us - she is a joy to learn from. We’ll be back again, Seldovia! 💕
