No matter what situation you’re in, there’s always someone you can serve. I’ve battled severe diseases almost my entire life and it’s easy to keep my eyes fixed on isolation, pain, fatigue, anger, physical limitation etc etc etc. Jesus, in His worst moments of pain and agony, was still focused on people. With His last breaths He forgave, He prayed for those who killed Him and He made sure His mom was taken care of. I’m discovering that the more I focus on myself, the more miserable my circumstances feel. But when I look to Him who set the example, suddenly I can see the people around me that need a miracle too and I’m filled with His love for them.
