Mari Boine

I have a deeply personal connection to the song “Dolla” by Isak Samuel Hætta. I sang “Dolla” (“The Flame”) at the funeral of John-Reier, who died far too soon. In my youth, he was my boyfriend and one of the people who most inspired me to recognize the value of my Sámi heritage. Today, I’m honored to share that the studio version of this beautiful song is now available on all digital platforms.
