From meaningful conversations to bold ideas, the 56th Annual Meeting of the Caribbean Development Bank and the 2026 Youth FIRE Forum reaffirmed one thing: the Caribbean's greatest asset is its people, especially its youth.
As always, it was an honour to represent Saint Lucia, this time in my capacity as its representative on the Caribbean Development Bank's Future Leaders Network, engaging with young leaders, policymakers, development partners, and regional institutions to explore practical solutions to the challenges and opportunities shaping our region.
Whether discussing innovation, climate resilience, economic opportunity, or the future of Caribbean development, every conversation reinforced the importance of collaboration and youth leadership in building a stronger, more resilient Caribbean.
I return home inspired, grateful for the connections made, and even more committed to ensuring that Saint Lucia's voice continues to contribute meaningfully to regional dialogue and action.
My sincere thanks to the Caribbean Development Bank, the Government and people of The Bahamas, my fellow Future Leaders Network members, and everyone who made this experience possible.
The work continues.
