Hot Stuff 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️
You may know the Jalapeño and the Bird’s Eye chili, but what about the zesty Lemon Drop or the smoky Guajillo? Explore a vibrant spectrum of heat, from smoky milds to fiery infernos. Discover dozens of unique varieties from local and global artisans, each offering a distinct flavor profile and its own perfect shade of hot.

This summer, we are celebrating the diversity of the chili family with hot sauces, condiments, and rubs ranging from local Bern specialties to favorites from European small producers. Plus, come by Of Goods to grab some of our limited Bern-grown chili plants! 🌱

Hot Pot Chilies is a Swiss project based in Biel/Bienne that has been cultivating selected and unusual chili varieties since 2015. The brand transforms its harvest into spices, spice blends, and fermented hot sauces, with a focus not only on heat, but on the individual aromas and flavour profiles of each chili.

Lemon Drop - This highly aromatic chili-sea salt blend in a spice grinder features the fruity, lemony
Lemon Drop chili. It offers a pleasant heat that is never overpowering.

Come by OF Goods and get one of the locally grown chili plants. Several varieties available some already with beautiful fruits.

From Ottolenghi comes Green Harissa-
Harissa is a spicy chilli paste that brings an earthy heat to food.

and fermented green chillis create a complex heat that doesn’t bite your head
off. Loosen with olive oil and drizzle over dips and salads for some spicy
acidity. It’s also a delicious way to liven up a cheese toastie.

Maison Martin is a French craft producer specializing in premium hot sauces, with the mission of making the world of spicy flavours accessible to everyone.

The Martins concocted this insane potion for adventurers looking for the (ultimate) challenge. A mixture of Armageddon peppers,
one of the strongest in the world, added with an extract of peppers to peel off the taste buds. Because there are those who want...
AND THOSE WHO CAN! 5 to 8 minutes of intense burning in the mouth, you are warned!
