Today I volunteered at the @run4wales Porthcawl 10K as part of the @theextramilers team.
sad miles club. ambassador @nina_runs_happy set us a challenge this month to give up some time and volunteer at a local race, so I signed up for the water station.
It was hectic, loud, sweaty, and I’m pretty sure I left feeling like I’d run the 10K myself 😂
But honestly, I loved it.
Races don’t happen without volunteers, and it felt amazing to play a small part in helping people get to that finish line.
If you’ve ever thought about volunteering at a race, this is your sign to give it a go 🤍
