What can I say that everyone else hasn’t already said about Mk1Madness weekend. It’s my favorite vw meet of the year, generally the only time I get to spend some time with my favorite vw people (DCIVW). I am a firm believer that the moments you spend with friends are worth more than anything else in life, and every moment is a gift. Tomorrow is not promised to us. It’s also generally my biggest roadtrip for the scirocco every summer. This year did not disappoint. So stoked to see my friends. Stoked to have a white knuckle ride down with mechanical complications and almost strandings. Stoked i made it. Stoked to see everyone else’s amazing builds. My friends are so talented! Loved the laughs i shared, and eternally grateful for the generosity of my friends. Especially @kohlsgermanwife @2l16vpu @vweurotrash @vwweasel_75 @og_mk1madness @pushingluckog @rachelmumietattoos and Josh. Thanks for welcoming me in to the campsite. Pumped I stuck to the diet, I fight in less than a month! Still have 9 lbs to cut for the weight class.
Was jazzed i was able to catch the tail end of the Tomas Hurley Brown Memorial Golf Tournament with my hockey team! Love you guys! Sorry for missing the tournament but at least I got there in time to buy out all the jello shots and be loud and obnoxious!!! JELLO SHOTTTTTTSSSSS!!!
