💛‼️ SPEED DATING AUGUST 22nd ‼️💛
💛‼️ TICKETS AT LINK IN BIO ‼️💛
We are seeking composers and librettists of all backgrounds for our second annual speed dating event! We will be pairing up artists who want to tell bold, contemporary stories through opera—and if that’s you, you’ll want to snag your $15 ticket before we run out of space. Your ticket gets you access to the event AND the underground parking garage. There will be facilitated “speed dating,” open mingling, and performances of previous Original Vision pieces by @mollybutterfly & @divyamaus; @samararicecomposer & @rentpoet with @hsinhuamusic @raeshrummusic @iantheoneliamarini & @kkeeeennioo
We are so pleased to collaborate on this event with @synchromymusic and @rentpoet as we ramp up to Original Vision, Overtone’s annual development program that helps early-to-mid-career composer-librettist teams create and workshop original works of opera-theater.
🎶 TIME IS THE ENEMY by @samararicecomposer & @rentpoet featuring @kkeeeennioo & @brghtwrk, conducted by @fahad.siadat | recorded live at @highwaysps during ORIGINAL VISION V: MENAGERIE
