The goal isn’t to crush every workout. It’s to build consistency.
This week reminded me that progress isn’t always measured by perfect execution, it’s measured by showing up, adapting, and getting the work done.
This was my first big week of training in preperation of my Hyrox race in November.
A few takeaways:
• The long run humbled me. My legs felt heavy for the first 8K, but I stayed patient and finished strong.
• Strength is trending in the right direction with a heavy squat and solid rowing work.
• Recovery matters just as much as intensity. A long hike and an hour of yoga kept me moving while helping my body reset.
The biggest lesson? Fitness isn’t about having the perfect training environment. It’s about being resourceful and stacking quality weeks together.
One week down. Many more to go.
