About two years ago, during one of the hardest seasons of my life, I found myself overwhelmed by anxiety, full of self doubt, and feeling stuck. I was trying to carry everything on my own, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t find the peace I was searching for. That’s when I truly began seeking Jesus through Bible study, prayer, and His Word. The more I got to know Him, the more I realized He wasn’t just someone I knew about. He became my Savior, my source of peace, and the One I wanted to follow for the rest of my life. That’s when I knew I wanted to publicly declare that my life belongs to Him. The day I was baptized is something I’ll never be able to fully put into words. I was surrounded by my family and my sisters in Christ, all there to support me, but as I prayed and was lowered into the water, it felt like time stood still. The sounds of the ocean and the crowd faded away, and all I could feel was the overwhelming peace and presence of Jesus. For those few moments, it felt like it was just Him and me. It was the most peaceful moment I’ve ever experienced, and one I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.

Today, my prayer is simply to know Jesus more, follow Him faithfully, and reflect His love in the way I live, serve, and love others. I’m far from perfect, but I’ve been saved by a perfect Savior. Everything I am, and everything I hope to become is because of His grace. If my testimony points even one person to Jesus, then all the glory belongs to Him. ✝️🙌🏻
