My dearest Molly, my cuddle bug, my sun worshipper, my sucky baby

Aka. Wally, wallaroo, Weenie, beanie, bunny, buddy, bear…and then add the word Roo to the end of all of those nicknames.

I am absolutely gutted. How does one mend this level of a broken heart? How do you put 11 years worth of love into one post? You can’t, it’s impossible.

I could post 500 photos of you sleeping, minding your business, or trying to kiss me on the mouth and it still wouldn’t mend the hole in my heart. I always thought I had too many photos/videos of you but now that you’re gone, I realize I don’t have enough. I will never have enough video/photographic evidence of how much you were loved. That’s a feeling in my heart that I will carry with me for the rest of my days.

Sometimes you would drive us nuts wanting to play, and now the silence is deafening. I will never again get to wake up with you trying to climb under the blankets, never get to wake you up for your breakfast and a “hello good morning!”, never get to kiss your little head and scratch your belly as you fall asleep in my arms. Nobody prepares you for that. Nobody tells you how devastated you will be when they leave you so suddenly. Our last weekend together was so special, little did I know you would be taken from us less than 2 weeks later.

I will never ever forget you my sweet angel baby. I know you will always be with me, thank you for showing me what unconditional love is.
