John Swanke

If you know me, or you’ve followed my music for a while, then you probably know how much I love @themodernfolk. In all the shapes and forms: the MF Trio Band, Electronic Ensemble, Crater Family, Primitive Future…this music has shaped my own creative process more than I could ever put into words.

I discovered The Modern Folk at a time when I was pretty close to giving up on making music. The first tape I heard on @eiderdownrecords completely changed my perspective and became one of the biggest creative influences in my life.

This new album, courtesy of @iheartnoise, is no different. Moss and crew continue to be some of my biggest muses, and a constant reminder to always be recording. Go spend some time with this one.
