In 2023, I was gifted a coach by @shirarock and the Sundance Producers Program (we used to include coaching as part of our Producers Fellowship, and that year they had an extra slot!). If I'm honest, I've always been wary of the word "coach". Everyone in LA calls themselves one, and it's a largely unregulated profession. But my relationship with my ICF (international Coaching Federation) accredited coach, Shayna Weiss (@empwrdcoaching), affected me deeply. So much that after a couple years of research, I pursued my own certification through Brown University's Leadership & Performance Coaching program, and graduated this July (2 weeks before my wedding lol).

Over the past year, I've learned so much about leadership, motivation, belief systems grounded in developmental psychology and neuroscience–and how all these shape our ability to pursue the goals that matter to us (particularly as the only person in my cohort with a background in film/arts... a fascinating and noticeable gap!).

This does NOT mean I'll be posting selfie videos with unsolicited advice. It does NOT mean I'll be starting a Substack, or creating heavily marketed "packages". This also does NOT mean I am abandoning filmmaking - far from it. I just want to offer something that was incredibly valuable to me to other artists and creatives.

So, I'm offering 1 on 1 coaching to my community at a sliding scale (I mean it). If interested, please reach out! If just curious, or skeptical (I don't blame you!!!), that's ok too! B/c in a world moving at an increasingly frantic pace–driven by tech, stimuli, and ~*CoNTenT*~ it's HUMAN to feel lost, overwhelmed, stuck, unsure of what we actually want, where to go to next, what our values are, our purpose, and how to get back to that.

I wholeheartedly believe art & creativity are noble, important, and SACRED. As a producer, my goal is to help filmmakers make the best possible version of their film. And as a coach, my goal is to help creative people (from all disciplines) grow into the best possible version of themselves.
