BASIC INCOME FOR THE ARTS: MAJOR UPDATE

The Government has secured €34.4 million in Budget 2027 to fully fund the new Basic Income for the Arts scheme.

Here’s what you need to know:

2,000 professional artists will receive €325 per week for three years.

Up to 750 successful applicants will be notified via email from Thursday, 15 October.

All applicants will receive a status update this week.

Just over 10,000 applications were received.

Payments will be made monthly at €1,413.21.

Payments beginning in 2026 will be backdated to September; those beginning in 2027 will be paid from or backdated to January.

This marks a significant milestone for artists in Ireland, establishing a long-term scheme built on the evidence and success of the Basic Income for the Arts Pilot.

Congratulations to @patrickodonovan_td and his department on their work towards this, and in particular former minister Catherine Martin for starting the scheme.

Keep an eye on your email for updates from the Department.

🚨 5 REASONS WHY🇬🇧💀

Is the 2021 Aston Martin Vantage Roadster the ULTIMATE James Bond car for your middle-aged husband or boyfriend?! 😂

Here are FIVE reasons why this British luxury sports car might be the PERFECT solution to his midlife crisis!

🔥 4.0L AMG Twin-Turbo V8
💪 503 Horsepower
🏎️ 505 lb-ft of Torque
💨 Rear-Wheel Drive
🇬🇧 British luxury with GERMAN anger issues!

Forget the Corvette! Your husband wants to feel like James Bond, even if he looks more like James Bond’s divorced ACCOUNTANT! 🤣

With gorgeous styling, an absolutely INSANE V8 exhaust note, and enough power to make his insurance agent develop a drinking problem, this Aston Martin Vantage is the ultimate middle-aged man’s BAD FINANCIAL DECISION!

💬 BE HONEST: Would you buy your husband this Aston Martin, or just pay for his therapy?! 😂👇

Healing Food Bowls For Your Pets

Comment BOWLS to be sent the top 5 veggies for your pet

This is my little sweet potato addict, Pini. 🐶🍠

Today I did something different: I mashed the potatoes really well, and added some wild blueberry powder, because that’s what I learned from day 3 of the pet challenge. 🫐

This was just one of the tips from Medical Medium’s new book, Healing Your Pet. 🐈 🐕

I preordered it. Have you done the same?

Thank you, Anthony for everything you do.
