2 months agoPpl also hesitate sometimes bc they feel they need their ex’s permission or agreement to unfollow or block them on socials. You don’t. Just like how you don’t need an ex to agree with you breaking up, they’ll know why you unfollowed/blocked them, understanding doesn’t have to come with agreement.
2 months agoIf you guessed Option 1 you’re correct! 🙌 Research shows that if you actively monitor your exes social media, this could lead to greater breakup distress, negative emotions, jealousy, and could take longer to recover. Unfollowing an ex can feel really hard because it feels like the last step in decoupling. Ideally, both of you could have a conversation about social media boundaries as part of the breakup process.
2 months agoBUT how else are you supposed to know that your ex totally let themselves go and got FAT… and also now has a receding hairline… so you can have a sigh of relief, knowing you dodged a bullet!
