Fun Sized Tiny Public Art Festival

✨ Meet Fun Sized Artist: Maggie Nowinski! ✨

Maggie Nowinski is an interdisciplinary and teaching artist based in Western Massachusetts whose work lives at the intersection of drawing, printmaking, installation, and performance. Through imagined specimen drawings that appear as abject human-botanical entities, she investigates somatic response and human emotion, combining traditional and unusual media, audio, and performative processes into works that are as rigorous as they are deeply felt.

Maggie is bringing that distinctive, embodied vision down to a miniature scale for the Fun Sized Public Art Festival! Grab a festival map, train your eyes on the small details, and hunt for her hidden, site-specific work tucked away in downtown Northampton this September 26–27.

🎨 Follow her work at @maggienow!
