If dancing, dressing up and playing at a business conference makes you cringe, I get it.🤣
The first time I experienced tons of hype was at a FHL event in Las Vegas with guest speaker @tonyrobbins. I could feel my resistance yet as I stayed open and available… I began to understand that there was something powerful happening beyond the turned up energy.
Last week, I was able to fully engage at Living Brave Live in Denver, alongside @shoshanna_raven and a room full of powerhouse women who were willing to be seen, feel deeply, and step outside their comfort zones.🙌🏼🚀💃🏽
There’s science behind this work! 🤪🔥
There’s true value in coming out of our minds and into our bodies.
🎶 Music shifts our energy and changes how we feel.
💃 Dancing brings us into our bodies. We move, shake, feel and access a different kind of wisdom.
👗 Clothes become an extension of who we are. Choosing how we want to show up is a practice in creativity, visibility and self-expression.
🎨 Play loosens what has become rigid and opens us to new ideas and possibilities.
🫶 Doing all of this in a room full of women championing one another, sharing vulnerably, collaborating and celebrating each other’s growth, reminds us what becomes possible when we stop holding ourselves back.
These experiences are not just fun or performative. They can help us regulate, expand our capacity and teach our nervous systems that it is safe to be more expressive, connected and fully ourselves.
I also love the contrast.
At @theflorrest 🌲, the experience is a different kind of magic. There is silence, nature and space to hear yourself again. To slow down enough for what is inside you to blossom.🌺
We need different experiences at different times. Often times it’s through contrast that we come to know ourselves more fully.
The contrast is the teacher.☯️
When we’re willing to explore our edges, and also give ourselves enough space to hear what is true, we come to know ourselves more fully.
We find our center. From there, we keep growing.
As each of us becomes more fully ourselves, we enrich the whole ecosystem. ☯️🌲🪩
