One of those places that feels like you stumbled onto something you weren’t supposed to find. 🌮
@taqueriade10 is tucked down an alley behind ReyRey in downtown Austin, with an interior designed to feel like a Mexican market—white tile, Coca-Cola tables, an open kitchen, and taqueros working right in front of you.
The menu pulls inspiration from Northwest Mexico, including Baja, Tijuana, Sonora and Sinaloa. Corn is nixtamalized in-house for the tortillas, the flour tortillas come from the Esquer family recipe, al pastor comes straight off the trompo, and carne asada hits the open-fire grill.
Simple, colorful, a little hidden, and packed with character.
