❤️🩹 Some goodbyes you feel in your chest. This is one of them.
My parents first brought me to Mi La Cay when I was a 9 year old kid, back when it was on the corner of Dearborn and Jackson.
More than thirty years of coming back. Different address now, same love in the food. Every bowl is a little thank-you to them for bringing me here, and to the family who kept showing up for this neighborhood.
Their last day of service is October 29 so if Mi La Cay ever meant something to you or even if you just want to experience a huge part of Seattle history, go sit down and say thank you while you still can.

i loved going here so much as a kid. on sick days, my uncle or my father would buy me food from here... sigh... i missed the old location before it became what is now Apartments...this business was more than just a restaurant, for most it was a taste of home.
