Dimetrodon at Dawn. A watercolor piece based on the iconic Walking with Monsters Dimetrodon. Specifically the mother Dimetrodon after defending her nest from a rival. I always felt so bad for her getting that brutal beatdown, especially after having to guard her nest for 7 months. Though, my sympathy for her faded when she immediately tried to eat her own babies lol

If you’d like to see this piece in person or add it to your collection, you’ll be able to do so at the Dino Show at @giantrobotstore

I’ll probably be making prints of this piece sometime in the future so keep an eye out for that! #walkingwithdinosaurs #dimetrodon #paleoart #watercolor
