@bysaison began with a garden that refused to stay outside. Sammy Rees spent five years turning its herbs, vegetables, and flowers into boxes of homemade treats, baked in her apartment and delivered across New York. In July, she traded the delivery rounds for a counter of her own. Fruit-laden cakes, scones, and frangipane tarts fill it with whatever the season does best.
