I met Ric at Virgin Active, of all places. And you know how sometimes you meet someone and words aren’t even necessary? You just get each other. That’s what I call soul speak.

Since then, after sharing a matcha at his place, we became family.

Ric, thank you for keeping me safe, for showing up, for listening when I told you about my big, crazy dreams, and instead of laughing at them, pushing me to chase them.

Your friendship, your belief in me, and our running crew have given me something money can’t buy: confidence, courage, and a sense of belonging.

Some people come into your life and remind you who you are. Others remind you of who you’re capable of becoming.
