Doing a little research on magnamax with a little help from YouTube and @knifesteelnerds
Regarding yesterday’s post: @niagaraspecialtymetals they immediately contacted me and asked if I would return the steel. I said, no because I can still use it and .005 isn’t going to make a big difference. Packaging it up, shipping it and waiting for the new steel to arrive is more of a hassle. If it was .050 then that’s a different story. Thanks to Niagara for standing behind their product.

Glad to hear that they were willing to do right be you asap. I mean, an error is an error but those happen... However, voluntary accountability is a strong indicator of their integrity, and integrity is a finite quality that can never be fully restored once diminished.

They are the best! I ordered a sheet of Magnacut a few months ago that was supposed to be .103/.113 and right in the center there was about 12” length that was .055 lol. They replaced and took care of shipping quickly. Shouldn’t have happened in the first place but they did me right.
