SPECTRUM — a library of around 1,000 glass colours, developed since 2019 in collaboration with @cirvamarseille
Building on our earlier experiments with pâte de verre at CIRVA, which began in 2012, the colours were developed specifically for experiments in glass fusing and pâte de verre, exploring how different glass powders can create new colours and effects.
The library forms the foundation of SPECTRUM, an ongoing project exploring the possibilities of creating large, multicoloured glass panels and windows.
At the end of our residency, we donated the colour library to CIRVA, where it is now part of their collection.
The project has been supported by Hönnunarsjóður (Icelandic Design Fund) and Listamannalaun (Icelandic Artist Salary Fund).
