“Nick Missel: Objects in Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear”, is now officially open. The Philadelphia-based artist’s first solo exhibition with Wexler Gallery brings together aluminum-and-resin paintings with sculptural furniture from Missel’s “REM” and “Alumation” collections, the exhibition transforms radiators, scrap metal, foam, and other utilitarian materials into distorted new forms that retain traces of their original histories and functions.

On view October 9–December 23, 2026.
