Wordliners Open Mic

‎"A boy carries a certificate like a key...
‎But every door he knocks on has forgotten how to open. 💔

‎A girl carries a dream like a candle in the wind, protecting its little flame from a world
‎determined to blow it out.💔

‎And somewhere, someone is counting
‎One, two, ten...one hundred
‎One thousand
‎Forty-nine thousand.🥺

‎And we stop counting because the numbers became too heavy for the mouth to pronounce."🥹
