Use it or lose it

When you don’t use vaginal estrogen consistently your microbiome will change and you will lose the uti prevention benefits

If you treat urinary tract infections but
have never prescribed vaginal estrogen to prevent them

You are practicing against medical guidelines.

American Urological Association
Recurrent UTI guidelines
Genitourinary syndrome of menopause guidelines.

This prescription prevents
Hospitalizations
Sepsis
Death

Guidelines say to treat younger people as it’s not just about menopause!

How to prescribe:

Estradiol 10mcg vaginal inserts
2x per week
Til death do you part

Estradiol 0.01% cream
1g twice weekly rubbed into vaginal walls
TIL death do you part

I got you!

Game changer!!!! I am so so happy! Hopefully less need for antibiotics, so far so good. Great for your sexual health as well. I use vagifem pills, synapause cream was not a great succes.

Is it ok to put my compounded vaginal estradiol on my neck and upper chest area too? I already use it on my face a couple (2-3) times a week.

My doc prescribed 2grams 2x a week. Is this too much?

My aging mother has persistent, recurring, and very serious UTIs. She also has mental health diagnoses that make consistency with a twice weekly treatment somewhat unrealistic for her. Are there any ways to get the prevention benefits without having to remember something twice/week?

Omg, what?! I’ve had so many uti’s and no one has ever even mentioned this as a solution, only ever antibiotics and probiotics 😭

And the UTI doesn’t necessarily present the same way you expect it to. You may not have burning frequent urination.

Does anyone feel like the opposite has been true? The maintenance dose does nothing for me, it seems to irritate the tissue, ever since I started using it I have an odor that I never used to have, I spot when I use it. My gyno told me to stop using it to see if any of those things would clear up. Thoughts?
