Something I haven't shared before. Last year in October I joined a team of world class highliners from around the world to help rig the new world record for the world's longest highline at 4km (2.5mi) long across the desert of Utah near Moab.
The project took 5 days culminating in
@da_logster successfully crossing the line into the night under the full moon. Originally I was only supposed to come and document the project but quickly I became a member of the rigging team and my hands were on webbing just as much as on my camera.
I had the opportunity to write and help curate this story for
@utahlifemag in the Aug/Sept print issue. Told through my own experience of the project and filled with unique characters and adventure.
Thanks to @da_logster for leading this project and for everyone on the team that made this project a reality, (see tags on each page). It was also my privilege to meet and spend time with the legendary Andy Lewis, who sadly passed away earlier this year, but who had helped create everything this sport is today.
Beyond grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the team and proud to finally put this story to page for readers to enjoy.
