What does the future of fighter performance and welfare look like?

We saw it in action this week at Vortex Performance Academy.

Working alongside @brainscopeinc @northern_grappling_co and @fighter9physio our athletes underwent a series of cutting-edge assessments designed to better understand performance, monitor impacts and improve duty of care.

✅ Smart gum shields measuring linear and rotational head acceleration
✅ Strength and power testing

We were also joined by Olympic judoka @wjgreenidge1 , BKB Featherweight Champion @garyfoxbkfc.lufc GB MMA athletes and the exceptional team from Next Gen MMA Liverpool.

The biggest takeaway?

When sports science, healthcare and coaching come together, everybody wins. Better data. Better decisions. Better protection for athletes.

Different disciplines. One mission: helping athletes perform at their best while prioritising long-term welfare.
