19 days agoNeuroBloom – how has it been a week already! 💛 So incredibly proud to be part of Dr Rachel Gow’s team @nutritious_minds and forever grateful for everything I’ve learned, and continue to learn, from her. Being asked to host a neurodiversity support group in my hometown this year has been such a rewarding experience. Along the way, I’ve discovered a real passion for helping others, sharing experiences and bringing people together. I loved every minute of NeuroBloom! The incredible guest speakers who spoke so openly and courageously about some of their darkest times, how they’ve turned their lives around and are now using their experiences & important platforms to help others. And the inspiring professors, doctors and researchers who dedicate their lives to advancing our understanding of neurodivergence through research and clinical practice. So much to learn from every single one of them! But what made the day even more special was chatting to others who have faced so many of the same challenges as me. Sharing our experiences, listening to one another and being able to offer a little kindness, understanding and support meant so much. Sometimes, just hearing someone say, “It will be OK!” makes all the difference. 💛 Thank you to each and everyone one of you, but most importantly to Rachel. Xx What makes it even more exciting is that my own plans to continue learning and developing in this field are starting to become a reality. And once again, thank you, Rachel. You really are a force of nature and an incredible voice for us all! 💛🧠

We came for the learning - the bonus was so much laughter too! With relaxation factored into the day as well, we left feeling wholly nourished. As conferences go, I reckon it’s untoppable! So thank you to everyone involved, and for the new connections we made.
