Happy Saturday! It’s been a whirlwind of a week but we made it to the weekend. It’s our fall break here so we were off yesterday and we are off Monday. 🙌🏼

We’ve got a wedding to attend today and then my plans for Sunday and Monday include absolutely NOTHING! My favorite kinds of days!

Well. The news got leaked so here we are - a little off balance and rushing to catch up. We were going to announce this show tomorrow but someone has beaten us to it. We are so immensely proud and deeply honoured to have been invited by the Mexican Government to play in Mexico City on the 14th of November at Mexico City’s most prestigious venue - The Zócalo. (Plaza de la Constitución) @culturaciudadmx This is the main square in Mexico City. Prior to the invasion by Spain, it was the main ceremonial center in the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan. We thank the Mexican people, their government and the fates for this astonishing privilege . Everyone is welcome. Admission will be free. We are one of the most fortunate bands in the world to have enjoyed playing in Mexico since we first arrived on the scene but this is the absolute cherry on the top of what has been a passionate and 30 year long love affair. Rest assured we take none of this for granted. Extra special shout out to our good friend @soycesar who has stood by our side whenever we have been lucky enough to play in Mexico. Thank you to all the teams in both Mexico and California for helping put all of this together and for all the love and creativity. We are deeply grateful. What utter magic this is. VIVA MEXICO
