This is my version of an ancient Chinese hu. The original was made of bronze which is much easier to use to join up the handle segments. I tried making it all in clay, but the connections kept cracking. So I decided to use copper wire, and I like the contrast in materials. It was made with my favorite Atlantic Autumn White clay made by Laguna.
