New to Muay Thai? Shadow boxing feels awkward at first. Everyone starts there.
But it’s not just a warm-up, it’s training. With practice comes flow.
Here’s Kru Ton
@ton_wacharachai showing the class how he shadows.
What to work on:
👊🏽 Footwork: moving in and out of range, cutting angles, staying on balance
👊🏽 Defence: checks, blocks, slips and guard, drilled until they’re automatic
👊🏽 Offence: building combinations and rhythm before you ever hit a pad
👊🏽 Flow: linking attack and defence into one smooth motion
Next class, treat your shadow rounds like the real thing.
Not shadowboxing like Kru Ton (yet)? You can look like him - he’s wearing Maneema merch head to toe. Pick up our Maneema x
@infightstyle shorts and Thai Style Training Shirt next time you’re in the gym 💪🏾
Never trained before? Beginners 101 is where everyone starts. Link in bio 🔗
