A special pregame tradition takes on a whole new meaning for Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford as he welcomes military veterans and active-duty service members to SoFi Stadium. Stafford and his wife, Kelly, purchased a luxury suite for the special guests, and the quarterback made sure to personally shake every single hand before kickoff. Even his four daughters get involved, wearing jackets that read "thank you" as the family honors those who serve. Stafford says service members are "ultra-important to us being able to live the lives that we live." | @outkick Download the Fox News app or go to Foxnews.com for more.

πŸ’ͺ 3,000 PUSH-UPS IN NOVEMBER! I've seen this challenge going around quite a lot lately, so I've decided to give it a go myself! 3,000 push-ups in 30 days! That's 100 every single day. πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚ But I wanted to put my own little spin on it and do it for more than just fitness. November is also Movember, a time to raise awareness around men's mental health, so I thought I'd use my platform to help spread a positive message. I'm no mental health expert or mentor, and thankfully, it's not something I personally struggle with. But I do think it's important that men feel comfortable talking when things aren't going so well. As a dad to three boys, I'd hate to think that as they get older, they'd ever feel they had to bottle things up or struggle in silence rather than speak to someone. If you're feeling a bit down, reach out to a mate, family member or someone you trust. Sometimes a simple conversation can make a massive difference. I'm not asking for donations or trying to raise money. I just want to encourage more men to look after themselves, both physically and mentally. I'll be recording my progress throughout November, and hopefully some of you will join me! Now let's see if my arms survive the next 30 days! πŸ˜‚πŸ’ͺ
If you ask me what my biggest blessing in life is, without a second thought, I’d say being born as this beautiful man’s daughter. My Vappa. ❀️ If you ask me who the kindest, most empathetic and understanding person I know is, my answer will always be Vappa. He is the first true feminist I have ever known, even before I learnt what feminism meant. I grew up watching him cherish Umma, respect her independence and stand beside her as an equal. He never sat me down to teach me what a healthy marriage should look like. I watched my parents cook together, respect each other and stand by each other. Fawaz recently told me that in almost two months of living with my parents, he had never once seen them fight or argue. And I thought about how lucky I have been to grow up witnessing a love like theirs. Vappa has unknowingly set the bar so high for every man in my life, and I will forever be grateful for that. Now, as I walk through one of the biggest uncertainties of my life, I watch him find happiness wherever he can. A walk in the park. A new tree or plant. Beautiful weather. Even a 50p drink in a supermarket. The way his eyes light up when he discovers something new, the curiosity with which he looks at the world, the gratitude he expresses for the smallest things. He is in his fifties, yet there is a little boy inside him who still knows how to be amazed by life. And somewhere along the way, I have realised how much of that I had taken for granted. How many little things I had walked past without noticing. How much there is to be grateful for, even when life feels unbearably uncertain. Watching him now, I am learning all over again that kindness is never wasted, that happiness doesn’t have to be grand to be real, and that we can carry our own pain without making the world around us a sadder place. So, if you ask me what my biggest flex in life is, it isn’t anything I have achieved, anything I own, or anything I have become. It is that I was born as the daughter of one of the kindest human beings I have ever known. A man who taught me what love, respect, empathy and feminism look like without ever needing to name them. And I get to call him my Vappa πŸ’ŽπŸ’•β€οΈ
