“George and Andrew came in shorts, in the Wham! gear. I kind of looked around and thought, ‘I don’t think so.’”

In this special two-part episode, Jake Shears is joined by George Michael’s longtime collaborator and co-director, David Austin, and producer Chris Porter. Together, they look back at George’s Faith era and the friendship behind it, sharing memories of his early love of Elton John and Queen, Wham!’s breakthrough on Top of the Pops, and the making of Faith and its live performances.

There’s also a very special 30-second moment you won’t have heard before. We’ll let you discover it for yourself… 🎙️

Love this. And yes. His voice. Best. Ever. I was 10 when I first heard it and paid attention. And that was me set for life in terms of fave artist. 42 years later I feel the same. Miss him and am thankful to be part of @lovelies.help ❤️

"and then I heard his voice" - I think loads of us probably had the same reaction - and, it was apparent from the very beginning. 😊
