Ever looked at one of your fields and thought ‘I wonder what’s here?’ This expedition was one way of finding out, by bringing 30 UK detectorists together, with a shared mission to find out what’s there as a group.
And if we learned anything, it’s that there is probably GOLD in most locations, if you look long enough.
Enjoy this round up of some of the best finds made by the group during our recent expedition. Such an interesting variety of eras through Britain’s history, with objects from Roman to 2nd world war lying side by side in the same soil. Could only fit 20 slides in this carousel ….and could’ve gone on.

I loved watching this adventure. I was wondering, when you report your older finds, does the FLO/Heritage or whoever ever get excited about the fields you've been in and come looking for other archaeology?
