Virgin Atlantic has wide-open award space for February 2027, and when you pair it with the current Capital One transfer bonus, the point requirements drop to next to nothing.
The Math:
* JFK to London: 6,000 Virgin points = Transfer just 5,000 Capital One miles
* LAS/LAX to London: 9,000 Virgin points = Transfer just 7,000 Capital One miles (Note: Taxes and fees apply, but at these point rates, it’s an absolute steal!)
How to book it:
1. Look up “Virgin Reward Seat Checker”
2. Enter your departure city, London as the destination.
3. Use the calendar view to quickly map out available dates—look for the little red ticket icons to score the best rates.
4. Log into your Capital One portal, transfer your miles to Virgin Atlantic with the 30% bonus, and book!

First time I ever went to London (and Europe) I flew Virgin Atlantic and really loved the purple and red lighting scheme and their seats
