🍂 A little autumn update from my zippy greenhouse 🌱

With limited space to grow everything I’d love to, I’m trying to be a little more selective and stick to the hardy, easy-going seedlings that I know will reward me with plenty of colour in the garden next year 🌸🌼

There’s still a bit of potting on to do, but with those early dark evenings creeping in, that job is going to have to wait until the weekend!

The echinaceas are having a little change of plan, too. They were planted out in the garden this summer but started looking a bit sorry for themselves, so I’ve potted them up and tucked them away in the greenhouse in the hope of giving them a little extra protection over winter 🤞🏼

I’m also wondering whether they might be happier in pots of gritty compost rather than in the borders, so that’s something I might experiment with next year.

Just a little autumn pottering, planning and hoping for a greenhouse full of happy plants and a garden bursting with colour next summer. 🌱💚
