Sometimes NOT getting the thing you were sure you wanted ends up being the thing that puts you exactly where you were meant to be.
On my road to Center Stage: Turn It Up (& in my life) there were/are SO many things I DID NOT get that felt devastating at the time...
Now I can look back and see… they were redirecting me to something more meant for me...
Because somehow I ended up in the right place, at the right time, with the exact skill set I needed.... to book the lead in the sequel to the movie that CHANGED my life as a little girl. 🤯
And now, all these years later, it’s TOP 10 ON NETFLIX internationally. 😭
Maybe the “no” isn’t the end of your story.

You were gorgeous in this movie and still are! Hmm…I worked so hard toward getting my national interpreter for the deaf licensure. A sudden cancer diagnosis put the stops to continuing that journey. I now see lots of aspects of that job through the journey of others that have shown me it wouldn’t have been a good life choice after all.
