We’re on the same team.
Not everyone will like you. Once we accept that we can get on with what we were meant to do.
Oh y’all. We did a thing. 😳 I’ve been keeping something pretty quiet from you…. I’m in the middle of a year of doing things that feel scary and impossible for me. Things I would normally talk myself out of. Things that are stretching me in ways I didn’t expect. There’s a reason for all of it. And yes… eventually I’m going to tell you EVERYTHING. 👀 But this weekend, it looked like a Tough Mudder with my family. And y’all—I was TERRIFIED. But it ended up being one of the most fun things we have ever done together. Mud. Walls. Water. A lot of laughing. A little suffering. 😂 And my people patiently waiting on me and cheering me through every obstacle. We missed Kate- who was shooting a wedding, but Team Allen conquered. 💪 And somewhere in the middle of doing something I was sure I couldn’t do, I remembered: Maybe we are capable of a lot more than we think we are. And maybe that’s the point of this whole year. More soon. 😉

Some people cut a cake at 12 AM. I started pedaling at 12 AM. No support car, no group. Just me, my cycle and the Pune-Mumbai Old Highway. Most of the road had no streetlights. Only my headlight, cool weather and peace while the whole world was sleeping. That silence teaches you a lot. I carried my whole world with me - hydration bag, gels, electrolytes, fruits, first-aid, tools, tube & pump. 7 hours later - Gateway of India at sunrise. Just me and the sea. Then I gifted myself a breakfast at Taj. Amazing vibe, delicious food and they even cut a cake for my birthday. Me in cycling kit at Taj - felt so rich. Why solo? Because you should learn to be happy alone. Spending time with yourself is the best gift you can give to yourself. 155 KM. Celebrated. Lived. #fitness #birthdayonwheels #soloride #fitnesslife
