New Print Alert!

Inner and Outer - the new Glasgow subway train. Think train x disco and you have the vibe.

It's a good 'un, in my humble opinion!

Available on the website or pop into @studiopylon

My stuff AGAIN, but I can’t cope with running two social media’s so that’s how I’m going to roll.

Fun times at the studio!

Today was the worst day, mainly because I majorly fucked something up in quite an extreme way. All good, I’m sure I’ll problem solve it somehow.

This made me feel a wee bit better, I just happened to be running reports, and my own Birthday cards had done really well throughout the first half of the year. We stock A LOT of the UKs best wholesale card indies so it’s nice that my designs were holding their own. I’m no daft, mine are always in stock so it is a bit easier but still very gratifying.

My life would be so much easier if I could up the PaintsPylons revenue outside of the shop in a wholesale stylee, must get better at being business on it! Today was NOT a good example of that, sorry I’m being cryptic, not quite ready to admit the scale of my idiocy 😬😬😬 but at least you guys like my cards, cheers.

Hello! A few important details -

Orders made on 17th and 18th over £50 will be upgraded to special delivery free of charge.

In the nicest way possible, once I pop an order in the post it is somewhat out with our control. We post as quickly as humanly possible, by tracked services (with the exception of very small orders, which go 1st class). We will provide the tracking details. Please, please, please do get in touch as soon as is reasonable if an order has not arrived, after you have checked the tracking details BUT please, please, please DO NOT give me a shout on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day (yes, really, I have been emailed on Jesus’s Birthday 😂) or Boxing Day expecting us to be able to rectify an issue. We like to think we can move mountains but we ain’t magic.

Saying all this it is extremely rare for parcels to go missing and I ALWAYS fix issues as fast as we can.

And, lastly, thank you so much for all the orders, it’s been brilliantly busy. You legends!

I popped in my stories but I always like to have a post when I get a new stockist, it’s my favourite! A big hello to @blackhillbakery which is run by Michael, who I went to school with. This makes it all the more special to me as I’m sure the last time I saw Mike I was probably a drunk crazy person (I’m still crazy just a bit less so and sober 😂)

Go visit them buy some yummy bread and pick up some PaintsPylons goodies!

Another brilliant fun commission for @hospiceshops this time in Union Street. Super pleased with how it’s turned. If you’re in Glasgow town centre go check it out.

And holler at me if you’d like a cheeky wee (or big) commission next year.

Christmas Stickers!

Please forgive my cynical using of social media in the run up to Christmas then completely ignoring most of the rest of the year 😂
