This reminds me of paint splatters somehow the way the colours and shapes interact with each other. I used a randomness script I found online for Illustrator to assign the colours and it created such an interesting effect. Some music and playful textures by me 💐

These little birds were skimming over the surface of the lake, suddenly darting across. I felt like they were playing, throwing themselves and bouncing off the water. I did some Touch Designer colours on top and tinkered with some sounds because I loved how they were moving, so created some little loops to match.

Revisiting our last night of Dans Punk x QRAVE. The night was split into two different worlds, each with its own magic and incredible talent.

The Rest & Release room was for long breaths, sinking into the surroundings and joyfully swaying to the beat.
@pardafash started things off gently with her live performance, followed by @edenuriel.wav and @abhi_meer who brought playful and cathartic energy to the dance floor. @fursat_fm closed the night, bringing a sense of gentle meditative ease and after care to the room.

We bring some of this back this Saturday at the top floor of Indiranagar Social.

Exciting news! ⚡ Basanti Swad ke Hamare Chawal - the Hindi translation of 'Our Rice Tastes of Spring' written by our friend and journalist Anumeha Yadav is out!! 🌾 Translated by the brilliant writer Hansda Sowvendra Shekhar, who has taken this book to the next level. The book has been illustrated and designed by us at @spittingimage.in and art directed by @pardafash

Set in Jharkhand, through the story of Jinid and her family this book is a celebration of rice, highlights the importance of preserving indigenous seeds and is a critique of industrial farming. ☀️☀️
The book is published by Eklavya @eklavya_pitara who have always brought out such cool children's literature.

today on the 12th august, on the solar eclipse, i am happy and proud to announce my new and third book: medicine for a healing world.✨✨✨

this one is poetry and prose, available on hardcover (image 1) and paperback (image 2). my first hardcover book is out!

this collection is a companion for the times. the words were written over the years from 2021 and is a dive into my own journey of stepping and moving through the rising. the rising into individual self responsibility, into authority, ownership, accountability, sovereignty and power. and reclaiming all parts of self in order to do so!

i have been documenting my journey and boy were we tested throughout that period, and even now still.

there is so much happening in our world that is hard to witness and at the same time, we are elevating through it all. if you feel that it can all get a bit much, then i invite you to open a page. this is our remembrance. where many of us are seizing the opportunity that’s presented to us all through this time. coming online to our why and doing the deep work in becoming that.

thank you so much to @pardafash for the beautiful cover art and to @ashlyn_sound_stylist for suggesting to design a cover and on hardcover!

available online, link in bio or dm me to order!

see you tonight for a reading at blythe hill fields, 7pm.

Emotions as contagious, electric feelings that are fleeting. The current passes through two points and flows down, we are vessels that hold these energies, constant lightning rods.
Music and animation by me.

Frying up some audio-reactive mustard seeds to match the recording that I had made previously in my kitchen. The mustard seeds are so energetic, I find them kind of cheerful and satisfying. I had a resonator over the sound and it feels metallic or like rain in this visualiser. 🌧️

A swarm of flying beings in the sky, I made some blue clouds and a bright shimmering flock. They fly in synchrony, zooming and swooping. New music and animation by me! Having fun with some particles ✨⚡☁️

$Veins, rivers and trees all branch in such similar fractal ways, where inside and outside are kind of the same, as are the whole and the parts. New animation and music by me! I wanted to show a natural growth - a magical and perhaps also strange feeling of a forest taking over a body. #3danimation #blender #producer #electronicmusic #digitalart by @pardafash$
