Well… this is a pretty special one. 🤩

A huge thank you to Louise Heathcote at @one4review for this brilliant 5-star review of A Play of 2 Halves.

This show is about football, yes. But it’s also about community, belonging, family, hope, joy, disappointment, mental health and the things that bring us together. So to have that recognised is genuinely very special.

And sharing the stage with @riamcleod and @jennastones_ who are absolutely smashing it in A Season in Bloom, makes it even more rewarding. (Both plays directed by @strachanbruce)

A few more chances to catch us at the 1874 Bar, Tynecastle Park, @heartofmidlothianfc if you’re in Edinburgh, come and join us (link in bio)

And if you’ve already been… thank you. ❤️

That’s a wrap on my scenes for I Am King Vernon with @forgottenbirthdayfilms

This feature has taken me from the stunning landscapes of Snowdonia to the Peak District, and it’s been a brilliant journey along the way.

I’ve had a lot of fun playing the baddy this time around; always fun to embrace your darker side!

I can’t wait to see how the project comes together. It’s been a real joy working alongside such a brilliant cast and crew, and I’m excited to see the finished film.

I had this weird fever dream mcveighp where I was watching this new show on Netflix, the theme tune was Parallel Lines written by @andyfromtravis and @michaelredmondcomedy was playing Father Wilson. @paulbeesonactor was playing someone very hairy.

I mean … it was just a dream, right?

With just three days to go, we’ve been busy rehearsing for A Play of Two Halves, and it’s starting to feel very real now!

It’s always a thrill being here at Tynecastle, and having the 1874 Supporters Bar as our venue makes this production feel extra special.

A Play of Two Halves is two connected stories from last season - two plays, one ticket - exploring hope, grief, football, friendship and everything in between. It’s funny, heartbreaking and very human. And while football is at the heart of it, it’s really about what football does to people.

Tickets are already selling fast, so if you’re coming to the Fringe, grab yours while you can. (Link in my bio)

Can’t give too much away yet, but @edfringe is just around the corner so it’d be rude not to cook up something. Especially if it means a month spent at the Holy Land ♥️

Looking back at an unforgettable shoot with this brilliant team of filmmakers.

I Am King Vernon has been a real labour of love, and it was a privilege to be part of a project where everyone gave absolutely everything to bring the story to life. I spent days filming out on location in Wales with the crew, taking on whatever the elements threw at us - rain, wind, mud… you name it!

I can’t wait for everyone to see what this incredible cast and crew have created. Huge thanks to the whole @forgottenbirthdayfilms team for having me along for the ride.

Throwing it back to March, when I headed over to the beautiful Isle of Bute to shoot a short film with the incredibly talented filmmaker @tommy.clarke

There’s something really special about working with people who have such a clear creative vision. It was a genuine pleasure from start to finish.

Looking forward to seeing this one out in the world. Thanks again to Tommy and the whole team for such a memorable shoot.
