OCR Euro Champs - Standard course. 45-49 AG⁣ ⁣ My first championships! What a weekend! Super proud to pull on a GB vest!⁣ ⁣ I wasn't quite where I wanted to be for this race, post injury, and I'm still not fully confident in my single arm strength. But, it meant I had zero expectations of myself. The plan was to go out there, try my best and have fun.⁣ ⁣ The course was nothing like I have tried before, and I absolutely loved it.!!! ⁣ I completed obstacles I've never done, got further on rigs than expected and failed a fair few!⁣ ⁣ The final gauntlet was tough, and there were a few that I think I could complete when my strength & grip endurance continues to improve.... & I havent just run 13km😆⁣ ⁣ Top rated support from GB team mates, the OCR community is awesome!⁣ ⁣ I've come away feeling so driven to improve my strength and rig tekkers.⁣ ⁣ Bring.it.on.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #ocrwc2026 #britishobstaclesports #ocr #irun #teamgbr obstaclecourseracing @coachcarrino_ by @pip.goodwin_pt

I just had to share this post from @drmargiedavenport ⁣ "67% of mothers are less physically active than before they had children" and many reported that they "simply don't have the time, energy or support" to maintain regular exercise.⁣ ⁣ Everyone's story & motherhood experience is different, there can be so many barriers & challenges, a majority of us don't have a village to rally round us and provide support - its exhausting and sometimes, relentless.⁣ ⁣ It's one reason I LOVE what I do. It's incredibly rewarding to be able to provide mums that bit of time just to do something for themselves.⁣ ⁣ Babies ( and older children) are always welcome to 1:1's and to classes. I've become pretty adept at coaching while holding babies, rocking babies, pushing babies around their buggy!⁣ ⁣ ⁣ See the full post here⁣ https://www.instagram.com/p/DVICxqAEbZ6/?igsh=MXcwb3EybjcxZWdweQ==⁣ ⁣ #postpartumexercise #postnatalsupport #postnatalexercise #supportingmums #strongmums by @pip.goodwin_pt

Return to Running Postpartum - Part 4⁣ ⁣ We continue to advance our core & glute movements as well as full body strength.⁣ ⁣ ALWAYS in line with our breath work so that we continue to manage any intra abdominal & pelvic floor pressure.⁣ ⁣ Continuing to add to single leg work & and gentle/low impact to help prep the pelvic floor for the higher impact of running - such a light, on the spot jogging⁣ ⁣ ⁣ If you still haven't done it. GET THAT MUMMY MOT BOOKED IN!⁣ ⁣ * remember these are guidelines only - your progress may be slower and that's okay! #postnatalexercise #postpartumcore #postnatalworkout #postnatalcore #postpartumrunning #connectionbreathe #strongmum by @pip.goodwin_pt
Midsomer Murder Trail Race 10.5 miles of beautiful scenery and big ass hills & the windmill from Chitty Chitty Bang bang!😂 This was such a great training race ahead of my next Spartan, It was HOT ☀️There was A LOT of elevation. Some hills were like a hike rather than a run. As someone who always hated running and could never see myself doing this - I'm pretty chuffed - especially as my placing for my age group was not too shabby! We're all capable of doing tough shit!! #trailrun #trailrunning #ocr by @pip.goodwin_pt

Got myself out for my first race of the year on Monday - Mortimer 10km trail race . Actually, my first trail race that doesn't have obstacles! I definitely prefer it with, but it was great terrain to practice for the upcoming Spartan Season. Hit my goal of completing it in sub 58mins, managing to get 56.08, which I'm so pleased with! Who else has got running goals this year? Big or small? #trailrunning #Postnatalexercise #postpartumrunning by @pip.goodwin_pt

⭐️GETTING TIME TO YOURSELF⭐️ Mum life is is full on - it's so important that we get time out, time out that is more than just a trip to the supermarket without the kids, or an uninterrupted shower. As mums, time for ourselves, some self care, whether that's time catching up with friends, a trip to a spa, or swinging around on things like I did yesterday. 😆 I had the best morning training for the upcoming season in the sunshine, surrounded by lovely, supportive, like-minded people. Time out like this, to clear away the mum overwhelm, is such a mood booster and a chance to de-stress. And let's face it, if mum is in a good mood, it has a knock on effect and everything runs a lot smoother😆😆 #mumliife #timeout #selfcare #ocr #obstaclecourseracing by @pip.goodwin_pt
